I really enjoy seeing the pictures. I would like to see pictures of you and Lori as well. I like hearing about the children’s activities. I wish you all lived closer because I would like to see all of you.
My old TV (purchased used for $100 many years ago) was dying, and I used it as an excuse to take an advantage of a sale on a flat screen TV and satelite reception. What a difference! I have rearranged the back room and like it so much better. I have Jennifer and Ben’s room and Alex’s former room closed off (no heat).
Life is good. I love the changing climates of Kentucky. It is great hiking in the winter when you can see the hills in the distance from anywhere on the path. We have not had much snow, but it is beautiful when it does fall and it melts before it gets dirty.
George, across the street, is very weak from the cancer, but is now walking slowly down to the corner and back. He is trying to use a cane in the house, but has had some falls. He sits most of the time. It is hard to see such a hard working, busy person so inactive. He used to do house repairs for me. Now I go over and ask him for advice. His wife, Martha, gets exhausted.
Keep the news coming and thank you!
Love to all, and a special hug for Alex!

Hi all. Hope everyone is well.
Louis called and should be home by Thanksgiving. It is finally cooling down in Iraq(mid 70). He is wearing long underwear to stay warm.
Can’t wait till he gets home.
He is already scheduled to go to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2011. If he stays in the Indiana National Guard. He is trying to get to Ft Knox and go active duty. If he does that we will sell and move to Radcliff.
Everything is well with me. Still can’t find a job. Our basset Sarge is doing good, he has an ear infection.
Love all
Dawn
