I guess it is about time I reported on the Super Bowl party I held on Super Bowl Sunday. It even made the local paper called the “Hometown Sun”. Here are the pictures they published in their paper:
This is some of the 36 people who attended my party. They are enjoying the food and conversation before the Big Game. This is my “Screen room”. The door to the left opens onto my driveway.
This is the other end of my screen room. The sliding glass doors open to the backyard. There is an orange tree there.
This is the mode of transportation inside the park, bicycles, three wheelers, golf carts or just walk. I have an electric scooter.
As everyone knows it was the Steelers vs. the Cardinals. Cheering for the Steelers were Darryl Burns and Michael Mills, both from Ohio. Jan & Bob Barker, my sister and brother-in-law from Indiana, were pulling for the Cardinals. This was taken outside at my front window.
This was the 100 square board. Participants donated a $1 a square.
And here is the happy final winner. Yes it is my sister, Jan; and NO it wasn’t rigged. lol

All three TVs were decorated with the Steelers-Cardinal helmets and the football referee.
There was plenty of good food and a good time was had by all.

Hello Judi,
How are you?? Looks like you are keeping busy. Are all your rennovations completed?? We have had Pixel (bischon) all week & now Amanda. Kevin & Tricia are on a cruise!! Doing all the “mother” stuff has kept me very busy! Pat & I are taking the girls to Miss Annabelle’s for tea today. Amanda has a volleyball game & then we will have a “party” this evening. Tricia gets home Sunday. So I will have a few hours to rest before having the girls on Monday since there is no school! Then I will need a vacation!! Bill & his brother have gone to a tractor show in Louisville today.
We had 60 mph winds the other day/night. We are having 5 trees removed from our front hill this week. I will be glad when they are down. One is laying against the electric lines.
Bill had another PSA & it was zero! So that is good!
We have joined the Y through the Silver Sneaker program (for free)! I love riding the bikes as it makes my knee feel so good. We also do the weight machines which we both really like! We try to go 3 times a week. I still go to Curves. Silver Sneakers also pays for Curves. That is a big savings! Bill has noticed a difference in his stamina which is good.
How is Lisa doing?
We are planning trips but are trying to plan “cost saver” trips this year. We fly to Atlantic City just for 2 nights. Got complimentary flight/room & Pat is going so it will be fun!
Must go! Time to shower & get ready for “tea.”
